Last week, boxer Adrien Broner, was released from a 30-day jail sentence after upsetting a judge by showing up to court a little #TTU (too turnt up). He had apparently asked to be let out early so that he could start training for his next fight, but was denied with the quickness! After being home for a few days, Broner released some cryptic messages that had is wondering whether or not he was rethinking his career.
Now, this man is equally known for boxing as he is for being a prankster, however sometimes we don’t know when he’s just joking around and when he’s serious. Take yesterday for example, the boxer posted a photo and caption it: “F*** everybody!!!” He then posted a second picture with the caption: “I don’t think I’m (going to) fight again, sorry if I let anybody down who look up to me,” Broner wrote. “I’m done with this (expletive)!!!!!” This had everyone gasping for air–is this how Broner was announcing his retirement?!
Thankfully, the answer is no and Broner’s business partner, Ravone Littlejohn, told USA Today that his friend was “joking around.” According to their report, Littlejohn explained that Broner was actually on his way to the gym to train.
That was so close!
