Adrien Broner is known for being iced out, but a jeweler has reportedly sued him for not paying for some of his jewelry.
According to TMZ, Pristine Jewelers NY says Broner promised to pay to for multiple jewelry orders that reportedly has totaled over $1.2 million. However, his checks for the jewelry haven’t cleared and he’s reportedly refusing to follow through on the payment plan.
In the documents obtained by the site, Broner told the jeweler he would pay for his pieces after his fight in April against Jessie Vargas, but reportedly they have only been able to collect $100,000, leaving the remaining balance over $1.2 million.
It has reportedly been over a year since he’s ordered the jewelry, and not only does Pristine Jewelers want him to pay his remaining balance, they reportedly also want him to throw in another million for punitive damages.
As many may know, Broner is scheduled to fight Manny Pacquiao on January 19th so another payday is on the horizon. However, the jeweler reportedly claims Broner has already stiffed them after one big fight.
