Alicia Keys has been announced as the host for this year’s Grammy Awards.
She announced the news on Tuesday and said, “I’m soooo EXCITED to announce that I’ll be hosting the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. There’s so much in store and I CAN’T WAIT for y’all to see it ALL come to life.”
In a video posted to her official YouTube Channel fans get to see Alicia get the news about the offer, as well as clips of her telling her family the news. The video also captures behind the scenes of her shooting promo for the Grammys.
Alicia Keys, who has 15 Grammy Awards, said in a statement, “I know what it feels like to be on that stage, and I’m going to bring that vibe and energy. I’m so excited to be the master of ceremonies on the biggest night in music and celebrate the creativity, power and, magic. I’m especially excited for all the incredible women nominated this year! It’s going up on February 10!”

The 61st annual Grammy Awards air on CBS on February 10th.
