Amber Rose recently hit up Las Vegas and got lucky enough to get her picture taken with the legend herself, Mariah Carey. However, in true Amber fashion, the caption to the photo of the two she posted on social media is drawing tons of attention.
As Mariah Carey is at the end of her run at the Las Vegas Colosseum for her “The Butterfly Returns” residency, Amber Rose was one of the many fans in attendance. Although, Amber got a little extra when she nabbed a photo with Mimi backstage.
While the photo was nice, it’s Amber’s caption that is causing a few side-eyes. She wrote the following underneath the photo posted to Instagram:
“When you’re both light skinned, bright skinned multiracial goddesses but one is talented and the other one is a hoe. @mariahcarey Love you MiMi! Last night was Amazing!”
Certainly not unfamiliar to controversy, Amber should have expected some of the responses to her caption that followed. Some included: “This caption isn’t gonna sit well with some people” a follower told her. “I love you but the commentary about yalls complexion was unnecessary and ignorant,” wrote another.
This is the latest controversy Amber has found herself in the middle of, as earlier this month she went on a rant on social media regarding the opinions of those who felt her new face tattoo showing the names of her two sons was too much.
