<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">COVID-19 has been an issue since late December of 2019. As the pandemic has made its way across the entire world, getting back to normal becomes more a fleeting thought. So much so that New York has added a new state-wide curfew of 10 p.m.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">On Wednesday, Governor <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/?s=andrew+cuomo&;post_type=post">Andrew Cuomo</a> announced that places like gyms must close their doors at the designated time, adhering to the curfew.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">He wrote, “New York follows the science. We know indoor gatherings and parties are a major source of COVID spread. To slow the spread, NYS will limit indoor gatherings at private residences to 10 people. This limit takes effect Friday at 10 p.m.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Cuomo continued, “NYS is taking action to stop the spread in response to rising COVID numbers. Any establishment with a state liquor license, including bars and restaurants, must close at 10 p.m. Gyms must also close at 10 p.m. These new statewide rules will take effect Friday, 10 p.m.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Most recently, Andrew Cuomo made it clear he was not responsible for COVID-19. Cuomo stated, “We have tremendous losses because of COVID, we’re not liable for them. I am not accepting liability. I’m not accepting the premise that New York State or New York City should pay. We didn’t do anything wrong.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As you may know, New York was once the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic with over 23,000 deaths to date. The United States has experienced over 7 million cases caused by the virus, and over 33 million cases worldwide.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">According to <a href="http://www.latimes.com">reports</a>, California is on the verge of having 1 million cases. Texas, as previously reported, is the only other state to have already reached that amount of cases.</span></p>
