Roommates, if you’ve been keeping up with the Antonio Brown saga then you know in a matter of two weeks Antonio went from the Raiders, to the Patriots and then got fired just 11 days after signing his contract. Forfeiting almost $30M in total of what should have been guaranteed money per the deal he signed.
With all the on-field drama, Antonio is also facing some pretty serious sexual assault allegations. You’d think keeping a low-profile would make the most sense at a time like this. But, Antonio being Antonio, he decided to announce what seems to be his retirement on twitter and while he was at it, he aired out not only his former boss Robert Kraft, but his former teammate Ben Roethlisberger and Shannon Sharpe for good measure.
I know you guys remember, when Patriots’ owner and billionaire #RobertKraft was caught in a Floridian day spa that offered more than spa treatments… allegedly. Antonio wasted no time to reference Krafts mishap and even reminded people of Ben and Shannon’s previous allegations dealing with sexual assault or sexual misconduct.
Though this somewhat retirement feels premature, with Antonio Brown, there really is no telling what the future may hold. Hopefully things start looking upper him, but we’ll keep you up on this tea Roommates!
