<p>Antonio Brown has been making headlines since Sunday&#8217;s Bucaneers and Jets game. As we <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/antonio-brown-says-the-buccaneers-pressured-him-to-play-with-broken-bone-fragments-in-his-ankle-during-the-game-against-the-jets/">previously reported</a>, Brown removed his jersey and exited the field mid-game without explanation, but he recently revealed he was asked to play despite being injured.</p>
<p>In a lengthy statement, Antonio said he felt pressured to play in Sunday&#8217;s game after he made head coach Bruce Arians aware of his injured ankle. Shortly after, Coach Arians denied knowing about the injury, and Antonio came through with some receipts.</p>
<p>In a tweet and series of Instagram posts, Antonio shared a text message exchange, seemingly between him and Coach Arians, where he explained that he rolled his ankle and was unsure about playing.</p>

<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m all in coach. Really can&#8217;t get to full speed I wanna win wanna be there,&#8221; Antonio said as he sent a photo of his ankle during a physical therapy session. &#8220;If I wake up tomorrow and feel better, I&#8217;ll be ready. Kinda rolled it outside on 2pt play. I want what&#8217;s best for team lmk when you free I&#8217;ll call you.&#8221;</p>
<p>The responding message stated, &#8220;Come see me in the morning. We&#8217;ll talk it out. Definitely want you with us in care you&#8217;re ready.&#8221;</p>
<p>In his statement, Antonio explained that his decision to walk off the field was not a random moment of &#8220;acting out,&#8221; but a reaction to his pain being dismissed by his coach.</p>
<p>&#8220;I didn&#8217;t quit. I was cut. I didn&#8217;t walk away from my brothers. I was thrown out,&#8221; he said. &#8220;First they cut me. Now they cage me. Instead of asking how I felt to getting to the bottom of it, the team texted my camp promoting a totally false narrative that I randomly acted out without any explanation.&#8221;</p>
