<p>Word just broke that Apollo Nida, the ex-husband of <em>The Real Housewives of Atlanta </em>alum <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/phaedra-parks-eva-marcille-rhugt-real-housewives-ultimate-girls-trip/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Phaedra Parks</a>, recently got married!</p>
<p>Apollo and his bride, Sherein Almufti, tied the knot back on October 14, though they kept their marriage a secret until now, per <a href="https://www.tmz.com/2023/01/12/rhoa-phaedra-parks-ex-husband-apollo-nida-gets-married-wedding/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><em>TMZ</em></a>.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s also noted that, while Apollo&#8217;s sons—Dylan and Ayden—and Phaedra knew about the ceremony, they ultimately decided to not attend.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">The Couple Hit Things Off While Apollo Was Incarcerated</h3>
<p>Apollo and Phaedra&#8217;s divorce was finalized in 2017. However, they initially filed to end their marriage before Apollo went to <a href="https://www.bravotv.com/the-daily-dish/phaedra-parks-ex-husband-apollo-nida-released-from-prison-second-time" target="_blank" rel="noopener">prison</a> for fraud and identity theft in 2014.</p>
<p>While Apollo was incarcerated, Sherein was there for him to lean on. The pair ultimately got engaged during this time, and she addressed the matter during a season 9 episode of <em>RHOA</em>.</p>

<p>Once Kandi Burruss&#8217; husband, Todd Tucker, asked about how Sherein and Apollo met, she coyly said, &#8220;We found love, let’s put it that way.&#8221;</p>
<p>However, Kenya referred to Sherein as &#8220;the side chick&#8221; in a shady confessional.</p>
<p class="comp mntl-sc-block mntl-sc-block-html">Later in the <a href="https://people.com/tv/apollo-nidas-fiancee-on-dating-phaedra-parks-ex-rhoa-recap/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">episode</a>, though, Sherein was sure to add, &#8220;We&#8217;ve been actually friends for four years now.” Additionally, she acknowledged that she was essentially Apollo&#8217;s main supporter while he was in prison.</p>

<p>Now that Apollo&#8217;s officially a married man again, many may be wondering what the future has in store for him.</p>
<p>According to his <a href="https://www.instagram.com/apollonida03/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Instagram bio</a>, he describes himself as a &#8220;Reality [Producer], Fitness Mogul, Public Speaker, Celebrity Ambassador, Philanthropist, [and] Brand Endorser.&#8221;</p>
<p>As for <em>RHOA</em>, fans will recall that Apollo, who&#8217;s often referred to as the &#8220;<a href="https://twitter.com/ifuseektony/status/1516091104692609030?s=20&;t=vZQAEiW4YiV0t23QHbFDVg" target="_blank" rel="noopener">hottest househusband</a>,&#8221; was briefly featured this past season through a series of cameos with Shereé Whitfield. He even modeled a She by Shereé jumpsuit at the long-awaited fashion show, which went down in the season finale. Notably, Sherein was there to cheer him on from the sidelines.</p>
<p>We also have to add that Kenya, who caught heat over her flirtatious interactions with Apollo during <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfkqE9CNPlw" target="_blank" rel="noopener">season 5</a>, humorously acknowledged the moment by laughingly telling producers, &#8220;I&#8217;m leaving, goodbye!&#8221;</p>
