As the weeks continue to go by, the stories involving #PokémonGo seem to become more outrageous.
According to KTLA5, an Arizona couple is currently facing charges of child endangerment, and child neglect after leaving their 2-year-old son at home to go play Pokémon-Go.
Brent Daley, 27, and Brianne Daley, 25, originally claimed that left their son at home sleeping while they went out to get gas. However, they eventually admitted to their Pokémon adventures in various parks within the area.
According to Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, neighbors saw their toddler wandering outside their San Tan Valley home in 96-degree weather, “red-faced, sweaty and dirty.”
Officials say they walked into the unlocked home to find three dogs, but no parents. When they reached out to Brent Daley to tell him they found his son abandoned, he allegedly told them, “Whatever,” before hanging up.
The Department of Child Services is now caring for the child.
