Roommates, authorities responded to a call to Dr. Dre’s home after security reported that four alleged criminals were trying to break into his house.
According to TMZ, four men were spotted on Dre’s Pacific Palisades property in the wee hours of the morning on Wednesday–just hours after it was reported that Dre had been hospitalized due to a brain aneurysm.
Sources tell TMZ that security on the property spotted the men casing the house and immediately called the police. The men did attempt to flee, but cops chased them down and arrested them.
All four men have been arrested for burglary and are currently in custody.
As we previously reported, Dr. Dre suffered a brain aneurysm on Monday and was rushed to Cedars Sinai hospital. He was taken directly to the ICU, where he is currently being treated.
Following reports, Dre posted a message of thanks to his Instagram account, and said he would be home very soon.
“Thanks to all my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wished. I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!” the post read.
Dre’s shocking hospitalization happened amid the messy divorce he is currently going through with his estranged wife, Nicole Young. The two are currently in court deciding on how much money Dr. Dre will have to pay in monthly spousal support.
