Ayesha surprised many over the weekend when she debuted a new platinum blonde hair color on her Instagram, however she probably wasnt expecting the backlash she received.
Like most women, Ayesha Curry recently decided to have some fun and switch up her lookunfortunately, many on social media just wont let her be great. She dropped a simple Instagram video of herself alongside her husband Steph Curry in the car with platinum blonde hair.
Something that seemed so simple and harmless quickly turned into a debate on social media that lasted for hours. While Ayesha certainly had her fair share of supporters, they were overshadowed by online trolls who claimed that she was unrecognizable and trying to look like a Karen.
Well, Ayesha responded to the criticism with the following message on Twitter:
Its the fun wig for a switch up and extremely common IG filter we all use from time to time for me I just yall be taking this stuff wayyy to serious.
Regardless of the backlash, Steph Curry loved his wifes new look and wrote a sweet message letting everyone know.
You beautiful baby. And dont you let anybody tell you differently ok? I mean it. Theres just a bunch of meanies out there and I dont like it. I dont like it one bit. Do you boo boo. P.S. If the wig falls off I wont tell anybody, I promise. Pinky promise. It be hilarious though, but wont anybody know. Wait- thats been you in this bed the whole time??? I aint even know. Now Im tripping.
