Roommates, how many of you have seen both #BadBoys films?! Well, we’ve been waiting 13 years for a third installment and unfortunately we’ll have to wait another year and change, but it’s coming!! The official title has been changed from Bad Boys 3 to #BadBoysForLife and is slated to hit theaters January 12th, 2018 instead of the previously reported February 17th, 2017 date.
The new title comes from a line in Bad Boys II where Will Smith’s character tells Martin Lawrence’s character “We ride together, we die together. Bad boys for life.” Both Smith and Lawrence will be reprising their roles however there’s a new director on the project.
Joe Carnahan, who directed Smokin’ Aces and The Grey, will be taking over as a writer and director for #BB4L. If this release date sticks, then it will be going up against Maze Runner: The Death Cure. Bad Boys 4 is also set for a July 3rd, 2019 release.
