While fans wait for the next “Bad Boys” film to release, they can look forward to the spin-off television show starring Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Canada’s Bell Media has picked up the television show “L.A.’s Finest,” which stars Union reprising her role as Syd Burnett and Jessica Alba as Nancy McKenna.
Based on the show’s synopsis, “Syd has left her complicated past behind to become an LAPD detective and pursue all the fun Los Angeles offers. But things get a little crazy when her new partner, Nancy McKenna (Jessica Alba), a working mom with an equally complex past, learns that Syd’s unapologetic lifestyle might be masking a greater personal secret.”
Many were shocked to learn that last month NBC passed on picking up the series. Bell Media acquired the show from Sony Pictures Television at an L.A. Screening.
Bell Media has been known to be associated with networks such as The Comedy Network, MTV, Bravo, E! and many others.
