Roommates, R&B singer Tweet has a new boo and he’s a man of gawddd y’all! Do you guys know of Pastor Jamal Bryant on #ThePreachers? He happens to be the ex-husband of #RealHousewivesOfPotomac star Gizelle Bryant and made headlines when he used Chris Brown’s “These Hoes Ain’t Loyal” lyric in one of his sermons. Anyway, these two have been dating since last year and he opened up about it on his show yesterday!
Tweet first confirmed that she was dating the pastor on an episode of Centric’s “Being”, however, on yesterday’s episode of The Pastors, he explained to his co-hosts how they met bumping into each other in New York City. “A year ago I was walking thru Times Square going to an Oprah Winfrey movie premiere and I bumped into R&B Singer Tweet, who is my absolute favorite female singer in the world,” Bryant gushed. “And, I pulled an Orrick move and asked for a picture. We have grown into an incredible friendship; I call her my “Last Lady.”
Even though Bryant is a pastor, it doesn’t mean that they don’t experience challenges with other women in their relationship, but it’s not exactly what you think. When asked about the most trying parts of their relationship, Tweet said, “I guess it’s dealing with the women that send messages that said God said that they are your girlfriend.” She continued, “Then dealing with church people who say that I’m not Godly enough to be with him, but I have a relationship with God, so I’m good.”
Well, amen to that! Congratulations to the happy couple!
