<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We love to see our forever President Barack Obama living a stress-free life these days after serving our country for eight years, but just like the rest of us, now that he’s living like a private citizen again, he had to quarantine due to the pandemic.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Now that he’s living his best life, <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/barack-obama-gives-drake-his-stamp-of-approval-to-play-him-in-a-biopic/">he’s spilling all his tea</a>, respectively, and doing a lot more interviews about his personal life. He shared on a recent episode of “The Bill Simmons Podcast” that his eldest daughter Malia’s British boyfriend, Rory Farquharson, stayed with their family for a while during the first few months of the pandemic.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;Maybe teaching Malia and Sasha, and Malia&#8217;s boyfriend who was with us for a while, spades and then having some spades games. And teaching them how to properly trash talk and slam the cards down,&#8221; Barack Obama said when asked about what was the most fun he had during quarantine.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Obama shared that Rory grew on him as they spent more time together and explained why Rory was allowed to stay with the Obamas while things were on lockdown. &#8220;There was this whole visa thing, he had a job set up, and so we took him in,&#8221; Obama said. &#8220;And I didn&#8217;t want to like him, but he&#8217;s a good kid.&#8221;</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Obama also made mention that having Rory with them also ran up their food bill but he didn’t seem too upset about it.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;The only thing you discover, this is not a surprise to you Bill because you&#8217;ve got a son, young men eat. It&#8217;s weird to watch them consume food. And my grocery bill went up about 30 percent,&#8221; he said with a laugh.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Like lots of families, Barack shared he and Michelle were thrilled to have their girls back in the house with them.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;It&#8217;s a blessing because all the teenage stuff is kind of gone now. They&#8217;re just back and they love you again and they wanna spend time with you again,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I think a lot of families we went through that first month where we were playing games every night, doing arts and crafts projects and then, slowly, they started to get a little bored with us.&#8221;</span></p>
