<p><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/benzino-released-from-jail-after-previously-turning-himself-in-and-says-hes-back-to-da-bag/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Benzino</a> is adding to the discourse surrounding &#8220;this generation&#8217;s <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/will-smith-shares-his-feelings-about-tupac-shakur-i-hated-that-i-wasnt-what-he-was-in-the-world-i-suffered-a-raging-jealousyi-wanted-jada-to-look-at-me-like-that/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tupac</a>,&#8221; and his entry is none other than <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/lil-baby-denies-being-the-man-pictured-with-saweetie-last-december/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Lil Baby</a>!</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Benzino On Lil Baby: &#8220;He&#8217;s This Generation&#8217;s Pac&#8221;</h3>
<p><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/coi-leray-rolling-ray-exchange-words-on-twitter-photos/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Coi Leray</a>&#8216;s father made the proclamation via Twitter on Thursday morning.</p>
<p>He started off by declaring Lil Baby &#8220;the most influential &; important&#8221; artist at the moment. Benzino also said that, like Tupac Shakur, Lil Baby&#8217;s music can make a difference in the culture.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;He like PAC&#8217;s influence can help turn around young black men to elevate their lives from the streets to a better life. He&#8217;s special trust me I know..&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p><amp-twitter data-tweetid="1598358342530908160" layout="responsive" width="600" height="480"></amp-twitter></p>
<p>The next tweet further expanded upon this comparison, with Benzino sharing that — like Pac — Lil Baby &#8220;talks that street talk but he also raps about positive elevation &; change.&#8221;</p>
<p>Because of this, Benzino sees Lil Baby as the Tupac of the modern era.</p>
<p><amp-twitter data-tweetid="1598360059695796226" layout="responsive" width="600" height="480"></amp-twitter></p>
<p>He wrapped up his comments about the artist by adding, &#8220;This generation needs more Lil Baby&#8217;s.&#8221;</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Who&#8217;s Worthy Of The Title: Lil Baby Or NBA YoungBoy?</h3>
<p>In addition to Lil Baby, <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/is-nba-youngboy-the-tupac-of-this-generation/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">NBA YoungBoy</a> — aka YoungBoy Never Broke Again — has also garnered comparisons to the &#8220;All About U&#8221; rapper.</p>
<p>As <em><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/the-game-says-lil-baby-lil-durk-would-be-the-jay-z-nas-of-this-generation-nba-youngboy-would-be-the-tupac-of-this-generation/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Shade Room</a> </em>previously reported, The Game made this proclamation during an interview with <a href="https://www.instagram.com/Montreality/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Montreality</a>. Notably, he also said that Lil Baby and Lil Durk would be the Jay-Z and Nas of this generation.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Is DaBaby This Generation&#8217;s Tupac?</h3>
<p>We should also note that <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/irv-gotti-responds-to-fat-joes-comments-he-fooled-me-hes-not-my-friend/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fat Joe</a> shared his own thoughts on the subject and said <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/cheesecake-factory-employee-claims-dababy-gave-away-concert-tickets-to-employees-in-nashville-says-many-of-her-co-workers-declined-to-attend-exclusive-details/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">DaBaby</a> is the Tupac of 2021.</p>
<p>Fat Joe made this declaration during an interview on <em>Rap City 2021</em>, which aired just before the 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards. To be fair, though, Fat Joe was simply going along with a game, though his answer caught some <a href="https://www.complex.com/music/fat-joe-responds-criticized-calling-dababy-2pac-of-2021-reacts-j-cole/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">backlash</a>.</p>
<p><amp-instagram data-shortcode="CU8WXnWhtYB" layout="responsive" width="600" height="600" data-captioned></amp-instagram></p>
<p>He went on to explain his answer by saying, &#8220;DaBaby a real one. A certified real one!&#8221;</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Whether you like him or you don’t like him or whatever, I believe he lives what he raps. And that’s very much like Tupac.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>What do you think about these stars comparing Lil Baby, NBA YoungBoy, and DaBaby to Tupac? Also, who do you think is most worthy of this title?</p>
