<p>Juneteenth was filled with many people celebrating black culture as everyone celebrated the emancipation of the last enslaved African Americans. It was a day filled with empowerment as many people on social media and throughout the world celebrated their blackness.</p>
<p>As the holiday was coming to an end, Beyoncé made a surprise release for her fans.</p>
<p>She dropped her latest song &#8220;Black Parade,&#8221; which is also in conjunction with a new initiative she shared with fans, which is to help support small black-owned businesses.</p>
<p>She first released a short snippet of the song&#8217;s instrumental as she encouraged fans to visit her website to learn more about the black parade.</p>
<p>She said, &#8220;Happy Juneteenth. Being black is your activism. Black excellence is a form of protest. Black joy is your right.&#8221; Beyoncé continued to say that &#8220;Black Parade,&#8221; benefits her organization, BeyGood&#8217;s Black Business Impact Fund, which is being orchestrated by the National Urban Leauge to support black-owned small businesses in need.</p>
<p>Along with the announcement, there is a <em><a href="https://www.beyonce.com/black-parade-route/">directory</a></em> of black-owned businesses in multiple industries. The directory highlights businesses in art and design, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and many other industries.</p>
<p>Shortly after Beyoncé dropped the full &#8220;Black Parade,&#8221; single.</p>
<p>As we <em><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/target-announces-juneteenth-as-an-official-paid-company-holiday/">previously</a></em> reported, many major corporations have now made the decision to recognize Juneteenth as a company holiday, and even some states, such as New York is also recognizing the holiday as a holiday for all state employees.</p>
