United Gun Group has resumed bidding for the gun that George Zimmerman used to murder Trayvon Martin back in 2013. In a statement, they explained, that they have a right to auction off the gun due to their consumers’ constitutional rights and urge that “unless the law has been violated, it is the intention of United Gun Group to allow its members to use any of the available features.” They offered condolences the the Martin family at he end of their statement.
The initial listing for the 9mm Kel-Tec PF-9 pistol was on GunBroker.com, however they reneged after they received some backlash for considering the torment in the first place. “Our site rules state that we reserve the right to reject listings at our sole discretion, and have done so with the Zimmerman listing,” the site said in a statement. “We want no part in the listing on our web site or in any of the publicity it is receiving.”
Zimmerman is determined to sell the weapon as he believes it’s apart of American History. At the end of the description for the gun, he wrote, “Now is your opportunity to own a piece of American History. Good Luck.” Really?!
It’s really sad that this is what makes America “great”. We can’t offer enough condolences for the Martin family. This is pure torment.
