The Queen of Bounce is bringing bounce to ice cream y’all! If you’re not sure what ‘booty bouncing beignets’ taste like, you can definitely find out as that’s the name of #BigFreedia’s ice cream.
#BenAndJerrys and Big Freedia have teamed up to create this new flavour that will benefit non-profit organizations in New Orleans. Republic Nola music venue is hosting a whole event on July 6th to celebrate the launch of the ice cream.
“Ben & Jerry’s is teaming up with the Queen of Bounce, Big Freedia for a day of music, food, and of course FREE ice cream, at Republic NOLA. We will be announcing a new partnership together that will be benefiting local non-profits, and did we mention it will be sweet?” the official invite reads.
“The event will include an exclusive first listen of new Big Freedia track, Chasing Rainbows. The Queen Diva herself will be there, speaking to the crowd and telling her story about her life in New Orleans.”
The three charities that 100% of the proceeds will be going to are Liberty’s Kitchen, No Kid Hungry LA, and Upturn Arts.
Freedia’s clearly go this ’speak it into existence’ thing on lock cause she actually made a mock post of the idea back in February.
A few months later and things have come full circle for her! Will y’all be trying this new Booty Bouncing flavor Roommates?
