<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Bill Cosby will soon be a free man after a Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that he did not receive a fair trial.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The court issued an opinion to vacate Cosby’s conviction after the legendary comedian appealed to the court in December when his lawyers argued that his entire life was put on trial, which caused him to suffer “unquantifiable prejudice,” <a href="https://www.fox43.com/article/news/local/bill-cosby-released-from-pennsylvania-state-prison/521-cbf9af36-1a91-4e19-b613-d03b571315ad">Fox 43</a> reports.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We previously reported that the Supreme Court agreed to review two aspects of the case that Cosby’s lawyers challenged. The first involved the judge’s decision to let prosecutors call five other accusers, and the other was Cosby’s argument that he had an agreement with a former prosecutor that he’d never be charged. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Cosby has been in SCI Phoenix, a state prison outside of Philadelphia, after a jury convicted him in 2018 of three aggravated indecent assault counts. Additionally, the court deemed the 83-year-old a “sexually violent predator” for posing an “imminent safety risk to women.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Cosby’s team was confident freedom would be near, even after he was denied parole for his refusal to participate in a treatment program for “sex offenders and violence prevention.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“Why would Mr. Cosby accept parole, when we are waiting for the PA State Supreme Court to issue a ruling any day now on Mr. Cosby’s appeal? We are hoping they would vacate his conviction or warrant him a new trial,” Cosby’s spokesperson Andrew Wyatt <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/bill-cosbys-spokesman-responds-to-oj-simpsons-remarks-about-his-parole-being-denied-enjoy-your-golf-game-exclusive/">exclusively told us</a> at the beginning of the month while responding to a post made by OJ Simpson.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Wyatt previously stated that they knew his petition for parole was going to be rejected.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“He called me and told me that if he didn’t take the course, he would be denied. He has maintained his innocence from the beginning,” Wyatt said.</span></p>
