It seems like every week theres a new layer added to the Bill Cosby’s lawsuit. This week Cosbys lawyers broke news when they tried to block the subpoena that would pullBill Cosbys wife into the scandalous case.
Seven women have already filed a lawsuit against Cosby for rape and but now took it a step further when they involved his wife in the matter. This is just days after Cosby filed a defamation lawsuit against the seven women which is out of the 50 women who have accused Cosby of assault.
According to the Associated Press, Cosbys lawyers claim that his wife would have no knowledge of whatever crimesCosby isbeing accused of and doesn’t want her to have to be brought to the stand. His lawyersfeel that thisis just an attempt to pressure the defendant, that being Bill Cosby.
Bill Cosby said the women have tried to assassinate his reputation and character, bringing in his wife is only adding insult to injury. His wife has stood by him throughout this entire time of turmoil, not shedding to much light on the allegations of sexual assault. Well be following the case closely to see where it goes.
