Over the weekend, Blac Youngsta ruffled a few feathers while performing his 2016 Young Dolph diss record ‘Shake Sum’ at Aces of Dallas nightclub in Dallas, Texas. A video surfaced after the performance, and folks online started sharing their opinion, in which some felt like it was disrespectful to the late rapper. However, it doesn’t look like Youngsta cares to stop performing one of his biggest hits.
He shared a lengthy message on IG reminding people of his upbringing in Memphis. “I’m the type of ni**a who ain’t never sat back and looked for nobody to feel sorry for me! I come from the heart of South Memphis, where you get no sympathy, don’t even know what that is… With that being said, I could give two fu*** what the world thinks bout me,” he wrote.
Youngsta also spoke out for the first time about rumors that his grandmother’s house was shot up on November 17th, the day Dolph passed. “My grandma damn near on her death bed now, but I don’t get on the internet crying about it or looking for the world to feel sad for a ni**a. When the false allegations came out late last month about something happening to her house, she was hospitalized the day before that,” he wrote.
He continued, “Sick as can be. I took all threats & hopes that she doesn’t make it from all types of people IDK.” If you recall, rumors began to surface online that Yo Gotti’s mother’s restaurant, Prive, was also shot up. WMC Action News5 reporter Hannah Wallsmith reported the rumors were false. According to Hip Hop DX, the beef with Youngsta & Dolph goes back to 2017. Reports state Youngsta got involved with his Collective Music Group (CMG) label boss, Yo Gotti, and Young Dolph’s issues.
