It looks like Bobby Brown and the estate of Bobbi Kristina have reached a settlement in the lawsuit over the biopic that aired last month on TV One.
Back in September, it was reported that Bobby Brown along with his late daughter’s estate sued the network over the film. Brown claimed the portrayal of him in the film was defamatory, and the estate also claimed it violated Bobbi Kristina’s right to privacy.
According to TMZ, new legal documents revealed that although they were unable to stop the film from airing, they were able to reach a cash settlement.
Reportedly Brown and the estate were seeking $2 million in damages, it’s unclear on the amount they settled for, but the case has been dismissed.
