<p>Back in October rapper Bobby Shmurda was sentenced to seven years in jail for murder conspiracy. Recently he was faced with a charge after allegedly being found with a shank behind bars.</p>
<p>However, his lawyer may have a new opportunity to reduce his time.</p>
<p>According to TMZ, Bobby Shmurda attended court on Tuesday with his lawyer, Alex Spiro. Prosecutors are reportedly offering him a chance to plead guilty to a reduced charge of &#8220;attempted promoting prison contraband.”</p>
<p>If he does accept, he can get one to four years. He is already serving seven years for murder conspiracy, but if he takes the plea deal, the one to four years &#8220;will run concurrently,&#8221; with his existing seven years.</p>
<p>There is no word on whether or not he will accept the deal, but a source revealed to TMZ that his family, lawyers and friends are pushing for him to take the deal.</p>
<p>He has some time to make a decision, as his next hearing is scheduled for January 7<sup>th</sup>.</p>
