<p>If you miss the old days when you used to rush home from school just to tune into your favorite show on BET. Don’t worry, it looks like Mr. 106 &; Park, is working to bring back some of the classic shows to the network.</p>
<p>On Monday, Bow Wow shared his desire to bring back the video-countdown show “106 &; Park” with some new updates. He took to his Twitter and <em><a href="https://twitter.com/smoss/status/1338470084218654723?s=20">said</a></em>, &#8220;<span class="css-901oao css-16my406 r-1qd0xha r-ad9z0x r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0">My first mission is to bring back 106&;Park! If BET </span>decides to take this meeting with me&#8230; who would yall want to host?&#8221;</p>
<p>He continued to say, &#8220;My only dream job now is I want to take over BET. I want a high position. I was blessed to host but NOW I want an office. I want to run and come up with content for the network. I know what they missing. All you have to do is LISTEN to the people.&#8221;</p>

<p>He then took the conversation on over to the new social networking app &#8220;Clubhouse&#8221; to further discuss the matter.</p>
<p>By Monday night, Bow Wow had announced that he had an upcoming meeting with the network. &#8220;Big meeting this week w/ BET we getting somewhere. 1st step! Let&#8217;s go,&#8221; said Bow Wow.</p>

<p>He first introduced the idea of bringing back 106 &; Park, but he made it clear that there were other shows he was interested in bringing back to the network as well.</p>
<p>&#8220;Just want everyone to know it&#8217;s not just 106 or a show with that concept,&#8221; he said. &#8220;It&#8217;s bringing more music and music thrived shows to the network and hip hop documentaries such as the chronicle series followed by more hip hop thrived content.&#8221;</p>
<p>He continued, &#8220;We need to bring back teen summit. We need to tap in more with our HBCU’s. We have to make shows and content that speaks to us. We need a rap city type show back. Along with original shows. We about to make some BIG leaps. Let&#8217;s get it.&#8221;</p>
<p>As many of you know, Bow Wow earned the title &#8220;Mr. 106 &; Park&#8221; earlier in his <em><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/bow-wow-confirms-that-he-and-omarion-are-officially-working-on-a-new-album/">career</a></em> after he became the first artist to have his music video retired from the countdown. Years later he served as the host of the show from 2012-2014.</p>
