<p>The development came by way of some recent social media uploads.</p>
<p>In one clip, Smith highlighted her rendition of &#8220;Long Distance.&#8221; The song graced listeners after premiering on Brandy&#8217;s <em>Human </em>album in 2008.</p>
<p>Additionally, Sy&#8217;Rai also covered &#8220;Full Moon&#8221; — the title track to her mother&#8217;s third album, which dropped in 2002.</p>

<p>Of course, with Sy&#8217;Rai boasting some bops of her own, her musical talents shouldn&#8217;t come as a surprise!</p>
<p>Four months ago, she shared a music video for a song called <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jdGQi8Cxho" target="_blank" rel="noopener">&#8220;On My Own.&#8221;</a></p>
<p>Last year, Smith and her mother teamed up to record a track called <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OufSFqX9XY4" target="_blank" rel="noopener">&#8220;Nothing Without You,&#8221;</a> featured on the 2022 remake of <em>Cheaper by the Dozen</em>.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s also worth adding that Smith celebrated her 21st birthday just a few months ago, and her proud mother heartwarmingly acknowledged it on social media.</p>
<p>Beneath an upload featuring various collages to highlight Sy&#8217;Rai&#8217;s big day, Brandy wrote, <strong><em>&#8220;I&#8217;m so thankful to God for you and so blessed that you ARE.&#8221;</em></strong></p>
<p>She continued, calling her daughter a &#8220;beautiful soul&#8221; who makes her &#8220;proud.&#8221;</p>
