The United States #SecretService has intercepted two “suspicious packages” addressed to #BarackObama and #HillaryClinton.
The package intended for Obama was intercepted in #WashingtonDC this morning and the one intended for Clinton was addressed to her in #WestchesterCounty, New York, on Tuesday, according to @CNN.
Just to be clear, Obama nor Clinton received the packages or were at risk of receiving them, authorities said. They were discovered during “routine mail screening procedures as potential explosive devices and were appropriately handled as such” according to an official statement.
