<p><strong>Britney Spears</strong> is once again speaking on getting backhanded by a San Antonio Spurs security guard accompanying <strong>Victor Wembanyama</strong>, and she says it was completely unwarranted.</p>
<p>Spears also adds that she has still not received a public apology over the ordeal.</p>

<p>The &#8220;Gimme More&#8221; singer acknowledged the situation in an <a href="https://www.instagram.com/reel/CulRo0VLoKQ/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&;igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Instagram video</a> posted on Tuesday night (Jul. 11).</p>
<p>She specifically zeroed in on claims that she &#8220;deserved to be smacked&#8221; as the security guard was &#8220;protecting their client.&#8221;</p>
<p>In response, Britney Spears pointed out that her security guards never touched fans in all her years in the spotlight.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve been with the most famous people in the world&#8230; My security not one time touched them or even came near them.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>She connected this point to others&#8217; stances on the matter by stating that she did not deserve to get backhanded in the face.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I didn&#8217;t appreciate the people saying that I deserved to be hit. Because no woman deserves to be hit.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Britney Spears wrapped up by confirming, <strong><em>&#8220;I did get an apology at my table 30 minutes later, but I have yet to receive a public apology.&#8221;</em></strong></p>

<p>Britney&#8217;s commentary is the latest development in the situation, which went down last week.</p>

In turn, witnesses said they saw a security guard accompanying Victor smack Britney Spears in the face.</p>
<p>As word of the incident began to spread online, Victor Wembanyama shared his side of the story and confirmed, &#8220;Something did happen.&#8221;</p>
<p>Specifically, the 19-year-old NBA rookie said Britney &#8220;grabbed [him] from behind.&#8221; He then said that the security guard &#8220;pushed her away,&#8221; though Victor ultimately &#8220;thought it was no big deal.&#8221;</p>

<p>She refuted Victor&#8217;s claim that she &#8220;grabbed&#8221; him and doubled down on merely &#8220;tapp[ing] him on the shoulder.&#8221;</p>
<p>After recalling being backhanded, Britney noted that the entire situation was &#8220;embarrassing.&#8221; Nonetheless, she was determined to speak out and &#8220;urge people in the public eye to set an example and treat all people with respect.&#8221;</p>
<p>At the time, she also stated, <strong><em>&#8220;I have yet to get a public apology from the player, his security or the organization.&#8221;</em></strong></p>
