I’m sure we’re all still trying to wrap our heads around what exactly happened in Las Vegas and why, but it seems like the suspects brother, Eric Paddock, is as just as confused as we all are by this unfortunate event.
“We are completely dumbfounded,” he said. “We can’t understand what happened.”
Eric said his brother, Stephen Paddock, was never in the military and was just a regular guy. He said his brother did have a couple of guns but never had any automatic weapons.
“He’s never even drawn his gun before,” Paddock said. “He’s just a guy.”
“It’s like an asteroid just fell on top of our family.”
“There is no reason we can imagine why Stephen would do something like this,” his brother said. “All we can do is send our condolences to the people who died. Just no reason, no warning.”
“As far as we knew, he had enough money to live the rest of his life in comfort,” he said.
