<p><strong>Bryan Abasolo</strong>, the husband of the first Black &#8216;Bachelorette,&#8217; <strong>Rachel Lindsay</strong>, has filed for divorce after four years of marriage. According to <a href="https://www.eonline.com/news/1392273/the-bachelorettes-bryan-abasolo-files-for-divorce-from-rachel-lindsay-after-4-years-of-marriage" target="_blank" rel="noopener">E! News</a>, the former couple met on season 13 of the reality dating series, &#8216;<a href="https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6535106/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Bachelorette</a>,&#8217; in 2017 and tied the knot in 2019.</p>

<p>According to court documents obtained by the outlet, Abasolo filed for divorce from Linsday on Tuesday, January 2. The chiropractor listed the cause of their split as irreconcilable differences and their date of separation as Sunday, December 31, 2023.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.eonline.com/news/1392273/the-bachelorettes-bryan-abasolo-files-for-divorce-from-rachel-lindsay-after-4-years-of-marriage" target="_blank" rel="noopener">E! News</a> also reports that Abasolo is requesting to be awarded spousal support from Lindsay, who is an attorney.</p>
<p>Furthermore, the 43-year-old revealed his split from Lindsay with a post shared via <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C1m6PG2vnbF/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&;igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Instagram</a> on Tuesday.</p>

<p>Before concluding his message, Abasolo asked that the public &#8220;respect the spaces&#8221; of his and Lindsay&#8217;s family and friends as they figure out their &#8220;next steps.&#8221;</p>

News</a> in November. At the time, they shared their plans to have their first child together.</p>
