Rumors are swirling that the popular candy bar brand is releasing its own line of peanut butterand fans are already excited about the possibility.
If you are a peanut butter lover, then you likely have a few brands that you love when the craving hits. Well, if recent rumors prove to be true, Butterfinger could be officially entering its brand into the #PeanutButterWars.
Earlier this week, Butterfinger posted an image of a peanut butter jar with its logo emblazoned on the front, however it was the caption and the photos fine print that instantly sent fans into a frenzy. The text on the photo read, Maybe sometime in the future, while the caption stated We just had the best idea for #NationalPeanutButterDay. Just kiddingUnless?
Although this is not an official guarantee that a Butterfinger peanut butter is indeed a reality, it certainly seems that all signs are pointing to it being one in the future. Butterfinger wouldnt be the first brand to tease potential food drops with mock-ups on social media, a tactic that has proved to be a very successful way for a brand to trend and get everyone talking about their product.
