This comes after his offensive comments about George&#8217;s death during his recent appearance on &#8216;Drink Champs.&#8217; Candace reposted <a href="https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/kanye-west-george-floyd-candace-owens-1234612432/">Rolling Stone&#8217;s article</a> sharing the news writing, &#8220;George Floyd&#8217;s family didn&#8217;t even stop by his house to collect his belongings. They left his car and personal items abandoned in his house. Now they&#8217;re mad my documentary TELLS THE TRUTH about the fatal levels of fentanyl discovered in Floyd&#8217;s autopsy.&#8221;</p>

If you recall, during the episode of &#8216;Drink Champs,&#8217; Ye falsely said George&#8217;s death was caused by the deadly drug fentanyl, backing up the claim by citing Candace&#8217;s documentary he saw last week. The rapper said, &#8220;I watched the George Floyd documentary that Candace Owens put out,&#8221; he told hosts N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN. &#8220;One of the things that his two roommates said was they want a tall guy like me, and the day that he died, he said a prayer for eight minutes. They hit him with the fentanyl. If you look, the guy&#8217;s knee wasn&#8217;t even on his neck like that.&#8221;</p>

<p>As we previously reported, Lee Merritt, the Floyd family&#8217;s attorney, said the family feels &#8220;betrayed&#8221; by Kanye West&#8217;s false claims. &#8220;I anticipate by the end of the week, we&#8217;ll at least have an idea of what claims are viable and what parties might be involved,&#8221; Lee says. &#8220;At that time, the decision will be made whether or not to [pursue] trial litigation.&#8221;</p>
