<p><strong>Bob Lee</strong>, one of the people who co-founded <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/bow-wow-has-a-message-for-groupies-flying-out-during-the-pandemic-they-willing-to-die-for-a-cash-app-alert/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cash App,</a> tragically lost his life following a fatal stabbing in Northern California.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">The Tech Exec Was Visiting San Francisco &#8216;For A Quick Visit&#8217;</h3>
<p>According to <em><a href="https://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/san-francisco/san-francisco-stabbing/3198467/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">NBC Bay Area</a></em>, the 43-year-old was attacked on Tuesday morning in San Francisco. Reporter Scott McGrew points out that people close to Lee said he had recently relocated to <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/georgia-student-identified-as-one-of-two-victims-killed-in-miami-beach-spring-break-shootings/?_gl=1*8v7mz7*_up*MQ..*_ga*MTk4OTYzMDE3My4xNjgwNzA2OTQ1*_ga_V2HX8YP3XL*MTY4MDcwNjk0NC4xLjEuMTY4MDcwNjk2Ny4wLjAuMA.." target="_blank" rel="noopener">Miami</a>, though he popped back into San Francisco &#8220;for a quick visit.&#8221;</p>

<p>Officers arrived at the scene of the incident shortly after 2:30 a.m. and got Lee transported to a nearby hospital, where he ultimately passed away on account of his injuries.</p>
<p>No details on any potential suspects have been released, and no arrests have been made in the case.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Bob Lee Is Remembered As &#8216;A Force Of Nature&#8217;: &#8216;He Was A Child Of Dreams&#8217;</h3>
<p>The tragic news was addressed in a <a href="https://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/san-francisco/san-francisco-stabbing/3198467/?_osource=SocialFlowTwt_BAYBrand" target="_blank" rel="noopener">statement</a> from Josh Goldbard—CEO of MobileCoin, a cryptocurrency for which Lee was the chief product officer (CPO).</p>

<p>Within this statement, Goldbard remembered Bob Lee as &#8220;the quintessential creator, leader, and consummate hacker&#8221; and noted that he &#8220;surely had an impact that will last far beyond his short time on earth.&#8221;</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Bob was a dynamo, a force of nature. Bob was the genuine article. He was made for the world that is being born right now, he was a child of dreams, and whatever he imagined, no matter how crazy, he made real.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>While acknowledging Bob&#8217;s work, we should add that he was also the first chief technology officer (CTO) for Square, a popular program that helps businesses process credit and debit card payments.</p>
<p>He&#8217;s also noted as having made &#8220;large contributions to Android,&#8221; and his <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/crazybob/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">LinkedIn</a> profile acknowledges that he &#8220;added several features to the Java programming language and platform.&#8221; As such, it&#8217;s clear that Lee&#8217;s work impacted many lives.</p>
