Chad Ochocinco has been name dropped in the “Basketball Wives” beef between his ex-wife Evelyn Lozada and her co-star OG.
While things have gotten ugly between Evelyn and OG, Chad has, for the most part, kept things on the lighter side.
During one of the episodes from this past season, Evelyn and OG were in the middle of a heated argument when OG blurted out that Chad had once tried to make a move on her.
The line, “Ochocinco wanted me,” and pretty much that whole moment went viral.
The claim that OG made clearly struck a nerve in Evelyn and escalated their beef.
While Ochocinco never officially confirmed or denied any type of romance with OG, the two recently linked up for a good cause.
On Saturday, Chad shared a picture to his Twitter of him an OG at a charity celebrity basketball game and this is the caption that he chose:
OG also happened to retweet the same picture.
Evelyn Lozada didn’t have much to say about it but given that the last we reported there was pending litigation between them, it’s probably in both of their best interest to turn down the public beef.
To catch y’all up to speed, OG and Evelyn had a noteworthy, racially-charged beef develop last season. OG called out Evelyn for alleged racism and claimed that Evelyn thinks she’s black, which Evelyn took offense to as she said she identified as Afro-Latina.
The beef escalated when Chad’s name was thrown in the mix and eventually, Evelyn decided to file a defamation lawsuit against OG for allegedly calling her a “racist bigot.”
Evelyn also filed a restraining order against OG, which was eventually denied by a judge.
