<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As we reported last night, DaBaby alleged that officers illegally searched him in his hometown right after he performed and hosted a toy giveaway. Following his arrest, DaBaby was let go and cited him.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The department confirmed that officers arrested DaBaby and charged him with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, resisting and obstruction. He was issued two citations before he was let go, according to police.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The department also said that it is launching an Internal Affairs investigation to determine if officers “followed department policies and directives” during the incident.</span></p>
