Kansas state police are trying to come to terms on how a little boy died Sunday on at the the Schlitterbahn water park.
According to KTLA, the boy died while riding the world’s tallest ride, the ‘Verrückt’, said spokeswoman Winter Prosapio.
The park has been closed while the investigation is underway and so far no other information is being released.
Verrückt isn’t your ordinary water slide. This slide is 17 stories higher, which happens to be higher than Niagara Falls. It propels riders at 50 mph and if that isn’t enough to freak you out its name means insane in German.
What’s interesting about this is that this water slide was built in KansasCity because they don’t have a height restriction, John Schooley told CNN when it opened in July 2014.
We will keep you updated on this story #Roommates!
