<p>There is no doubt that the 1995 film; “Friday” is a classic. Everyone has his or her favorite characters and favorite lines from the film.</p>
<p>After it’s release, the Friday franchise would go on to grow with two additional films, “Next Friday” and “Friday After Next.”</p>
<p>Now the concept of a fourth film, “Last Friday” has been going around. Back in August Ice Cube took to Twitter and said, “We had a meeting. Can’t do Last Friday unless we can do it right. Ball is in New Line Cinema’s hands. Bat is in mine.”</p>
<p>Recently <em><a href="http://globalgrind.com/2016/10/17/exclusive-chris-tucker-gives-an-update-on-if-he-will-return-to-the-friday-franchise/">Global Grind’s</a></em> BlogXilla caught up with Chris Tucker as he promoted his new film, “Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk,” and asked if he would revive his role as Smokey for “Last Friday.”</p>
<p>Tucker said, “I was flipping through the TV and I was watching Friday. It was a moment in time, and I was a young kid and I was laughing through the whole thing too and I was proud of that – making myself laugh. I don’t know if we can do another one. I don’t know if I can do another one because I was so young and it was a moment in time, but we’ll see.”</p>
<p>Now it wasn’t a complete no, so let’s just cross our fingers and hope that things work out and we can see Smokey in the “Last Friday” film.</p>
