<p>According to the outlet, Legend informed a crowd of fans of his newborn&#8217;s arrival during a private concert. He went on to say that he and Teigen welcomed &#8220;the baby this morning.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;What a blessed day,&#8221; he added.</p>
<p>The singer also said that while he &#8220;didn&#8217;t get a lot of sleep,&#8221; he &#8220;feels energized&#8221; after spending so much time at the hospital.</p>

<p>A source told <a href="https://people.com/parents/chrissy-teigen-john-legend-ecstatic-new-baby-source-exclusive/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">PEOPLE</a> exclusively that the couple is excited about welcoming their third child.</p>

<p>Back in September, Teigen spoke exclusively with the outlet and shared how quickly she and her family learned of the pregnancy.</p>

<p>Despite this, Teigen added that her children had &#8220;been excited for a long time.&#8221;</p>
