<p>Congratulations are in order for <strong>Chrissy Teigen</strong> and <strong>John Legend</strong>, as the couple recently welcomed a baby boy via surrogate! <p>The exciting news came on Wednesday via <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CuCsL8bJ0pd/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&;igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Instagram</a>.</p>
<p>While John shared the newborn&#8217;s name (Wren Alexander Stephens) alongside some <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CuCuPVqpuMB/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&;igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==" target="_blank" rel="noopener">photos</a>, Chrissy opted for a much more personal post.</p>
<p>Chrissy Teigen acknowledged that she has &#8220;always wanted four children.&#8221; However, after losing their son Jack in 2020, she and John &#8220;reached out to a surrogacy agency,&#8221; as Chrissy was unsure if she&#8217;d &#8220;be able to carry any more babies on [her] own.&#8221;</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;In 2021, we reached out to a surrogacy agency, with our first correspondence inquiring about perhaps having 2 tandem surrogates, to each bring us a healthy baby boy or girl. Twins, kinda?!&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>Ultimately, though, Chrissy Teigen wanted to &#8220;try to carry just one more time,&#8221; which successfully resulted in her welcoming Esti.</p>
<p>Still, she and John connected with a surrogate, Alexandra, who was &#8220;a perfect match&#8221; for the family. Eventually, while carrying Esti, she learned that Alexandra had become pregnant with their &#8220;little boy.&#8221;</p>

<p>Teigen continued to discuss the experience in her upload, noting that her and Alexandra&#8217;s families ultimately &#8220;blend[ed] into one over the past year.&#8221;</p>
<p>Then, on Jun. 19, Chrissy and John met their baby boy—whom Alexandra delivered &#8220;with strength and pure joy and love.&#8221;</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Just minutes before midnight on June 19th, I got to witness the most beautiful woman, my friend, our surrogate, give birth amidst a bit of chaos, but with strength and pure joy and love.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>She went on to thank Alexandra, pointing out that—with Wren&#8217;s middle name being &#8220;Alexander&#8221;—he&#8217;s &#8220;forever connected&#8221; to her.</p>
