Last month Chrissy Teigen faced backlash after a previous cyberbullying matter resurfaced. She issued an apology for her past comments, and she’s been quiet about the matter since. However, on Wednesday, she took to social media to give her followers an update on how she’s doing mentally since last month’s situation, and her thoughts about being a part of what she calls the “cancel club.”
Chrissy shared a point-of-view image of her sitting back on her couch and said, “I don’t really know what to say here…just feels so weird to pretend nothing happened in this online world but feel like utter sh*t in real life. Going outside sucks and doesn’t feel right, being at home alone with my mind makes my depressed head race. But I do know that however, I’m handling this now isn’t the right answer.”Â
She continued, “Cancel club is a fascinating thing and I have learned a whollllle lot. Only a few understand it and it’s impossible to know til you’re in it. And it’s hard to talk about it in that sense because obviously, you sound whiney when you’ve clearly done something wrong. It just sucks. There is no winning. But there never is here anyhow.”
She jokingly ended her message and said, Â “If you or someone you know has also been cancelled please let me know if there is a cancel club reunion because I could use some time off my couch!”
As previously reported, last month Chrissy issued a public apology after some of her previous tweets resurfaced and exposed her cyberbullying past. At the time, the tweets that were in question were the tweets about Courtney Stodden from 2011 and 2012.
