<p>Police say <strong>Zohreh Sadeghi</strong>, 33, and her husband, <strong>Milan Naseri,</strong> 35, were both killed by <strong>Ramin Khodakaramrezaei</strong>, described as a 38-year-old Texas trucker, who then took his own life inside their $1 million home in the Seattle suburb of Redmond, per <a href="https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/pocharaponneammanee/zohreh-sadeghi-streamer-shooting-obsessed-stalker" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><em><strong>BuzzFeed News</strong></em></a>.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Obsessed Stalker Broke Into Zohreh Sadeghi&#8217;s Home, Killed Her And Her Husband Police Say</h3>
<p>Redmond Police Chief Darrell Lowe told local press that Khodakaramrezaei entered the podcaster&#8217;s house through her mother&#8217;s bedroom. The mother was able to safely flee the scene before calling police from a neighbor&#8217;s home.</p>
<p>Khodakaramrezaei reportedly discovered Sadeghi on the Clubhouse app after listening to a stream of her&#8217;s about getting jobs in the tech industry.</p>
<p>The two actually began talking as friends until things &#8220;escalated,&#8221; prompting her to contact the police to file an order of protection against him.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Victim Filed Order Of Protection, However Authorities Were Unable To Locate Stalker To Serve Him</h3>
<p>Lowe said that investigators had been trying to locate him for an arrest in a separate case in addition to serving the protective order.</p>
<blockquote><p>“This was an individual who, by virtue of his profession, moved from place to place, so it was difficult to, I’ll say, pin him down to a location. It wasn&#8217;t as though he was local and we had a local address to where we could either do surveillance or find him, serve the protective order, et cetera,” Lowe said.</p></blockquote>
<p>Sadeghi had expressed fear for both herself and her family regarding Khodakaramrezaei&#8217;s increasingly obsessive nature in her petition for the protection order.</p>

<p>The document states that Khodakaramrezaei told Sadeghi that he had previously physically abused his ex-wife and made it clear to her that he was not afraid to break the law, describing his behavior as “bursts of anger and [being] completely delusional.”</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Stalker Called Over 100 Times In One Day, Installed Device In His Phone To Record Her</h3>
<p>Khodakaramrezaei reportedly harassed Sadeghi for months over the phone. One day, he even called her over 100 times, according to the outlet. He would leave threatening voicemails, and told her he would burn himself and the trees on her property surrounding her home.</p>
<p>Lowe said that he also purchased &#8220;items of affections&#8221; and mailed them to her. He added that Khodakaramrezaei demanded she delete her Instagram account or make it public so he could see what she posted, the petition went on to say.</p>
<blockquote><p>“Khodakaramrezaei’s voice messages to me have been the cause of anxiety and insomnia for me,” Sadeghi wrote.</p></blockquote>
<p>She said he also contacted her husband upwards of 20 times a day &#8211; every day &#8211; telling him he installed an app on his phone that was recording her, and even sent a snippet of the recording for proof.</p>
<blockquote><p>“He sent an edited snippet of the recording. I was not in an emotional state to listen to it, but I feel really violated that he has been recording me without my consent,” Sadeghi wrote.</p></blockquote>
<p>Khodakaramrezaei acquired her friends&#8217; phone numbers and addresses, the petition stated, and had even shown up in person at Sadeghi’s neighborhood multiple times, staying at nearby hotels and parking down the street from her home.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Murder Victim Said Stalker Left Her &#8220;Suffering From A Deep-Seated Fear For My Safety&#8221;</h3>
<p>Sadeghi added that he told her he had hired a jazz band to perform in front of her house for two hours, but eventually cancelled later on.</p>
<p>She went on to say that she was scared about her ability to &#8220;respond to a crisis&#8221; after undergoing back surgery that affected her ability to move.</p>
<blockquote><p>“All of this has caused me great distress and pain, and now I am suffering from a deep-seated fear for my safety. It has taken a toll on my recovery,” Sadeghi wrote in the petition. “I haven’t been able to open the curtains in my bedroom out of fear of him being outside watching me.”</p></blockquote>
<p>Nearly one in three women have reported some form of stalking, with 69 percent saying they were threatened with physical harm, according to the <strong><a href="https://www.stalkingawareness.org/fact-sheets-and-infographics/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Stalking Prevention, Awareness and Resource Center</a></strong>.</p>
