<p>Beyoncé performed at the CMA&#8217;s Wednesday night and a lot of country fans were not here for it. Upset CMA fans took it upon themselves to make racial comments regarding Bey&#8217;s performance with the Dixie Chicks all over the productions social media.</p>
<p>Unike posts they made for other performances and highlights of the show, Beyoncé fans realized that there was no trace or mention of Beyoncé or her performance on any of the CMA&#8217;s social media outlets, and therefore assumed they were deleted as a way to stop the racist comments.</p>
<p>The BeyHive attacked the CMA&#8217;s for allegedly deleting any and all traces of Beyoncé&#8217;s performance along side the Dixie Chicks, and if you&#8217;re familiar with Bey&#8217;s fans, then you know they go ham to the point where the CMA had to issue a response.</p>
<p>According to the CMA, nothing was deleted, and it was Beyoncé&#8217;s request for them to remove a 5 second promo clip prior to the start of the show. They said the following in a statement to People:</p>
<p>“CMA has not erased any mentions of Beyoncé’s performance on the CMA Awards. In advance of the broadcast, CMA removed a 5-second promotional clip from ABC.com and CMA’s Facebook page&#8230;The promo was unapproved and CMA removed it prior to the broadcast. Beyoncé’s performance with Dixie Chicks was a highlight of the evening and we are continuing to share the amazing full-length performance clip via our official social channels.&#8221;</p>
<p>CMA chief executive Sarah Trahern, told the <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/04/arts/music/beyonce-cma-awards-backlash.html?_r=0"><b>New York Times</b></a> that the clip of Beyoncé was removed on Wednesday before the performance “at the request of the singer.”</p>
<p>“Beyoncé’s team hadn’t approved that, so we pulled it down,&#8221; she said. &#8220;Fans can get kind of passionate and read other things into it.”</p>
