<p>According to <a href="https://icecreamconvos.com/she-said-yes-matt-barnes-anansa-sims-are-engaged/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ice Cream Convos</a>, Barnes and Sims have been together for five years. The couple shares a 4-year-old son and each has children from previous marriages. Sims has three sons from a previous marriage to former NFL player David Patterson. And Barnes has twin boys from a previous marriage to <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/gloria-govan-has-baby-fever/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Gloria Govan</a>, as reported by the outlet.</p>
<p>The couple began a romantic relationship, after their respective divorces, in 2017. However, in 2019, the couple split. And Barnes was served with a restraining order for allegedly mistreating Sim&#8217;s children, as previously reported by <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/matt-barnes-is-accused-of-mistreating-anansa-sims-older-children-says-her-ex-husband-in-restraining-order/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Shade Room</a>.</p>
