<p>It seems like <strong>C-Murder</strong> peeped <strong>Monica</strong>&#8216;s desire to create distance between her name and his. On Tuesday (Dec. 12), the incarcerated rapper took to <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/nle-choppa-blueface-marissa-danae-co-parent-exchange-heated-words-twitter/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">social media</a> with what seemed like a lil&#8217; clapback for the &#8216;So Gone&#8217; singer.</p>
<p>C-Murder, whose legal name is Corey Miller,<a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C0xE7BFOzSV/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&;igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> shared his thoughts</a> in the caption of an Instagram feed photo of himself.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;I don’t know why someone feels the need to publicly bash a person that’s fighting for their life,&#8221; C-Murder wrote, adding question marks. &#8220;I am a black male fighting and hoping for freedom one day.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>He didn&#8217;t name-drop his estranged ex. However, Miller&#8217;s post comes a week after Monica stepped into The Shade Room to confirm she&#8217;s moved on from him.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Monica Previously Implied C-Murder Broke Her Heart Again</h3>
<p>The singer had stepped out to Nelly&#8217;s recent birthday celebration alongside her new bae. She went off when the roomies pressed the singer about her red carpet date named Anthony and her status with C-Murder.</p>

<p>In a follow-up comment, she implied that C-Murder broke her heart again.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Well, here it is in short! I learned yet another valuable lesson! I went through it, got over it, now I can laugh about it. Life continues,&#8221; Monica wrote in TSR&#8217;s comment section.&#8221;</p></blockquote>

<p>As previously reported, Monica revealed she was working behind the scenes in 2020 to get C-Murder <a href="https://www.revolt.tv/article/2023-08-28/324153/c-murder-continues-to-fight-for-freedom-as-he-serves-life-sentence/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">released</a> from prison amid witness recants.</p>
<p>At the time, she explained connecting with Kim Kardashian <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/monica-talks-about-working-to-get-c-released-from-prison/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">about his case</a> and learning its ins and outs via his lawyer. Miller is serving a life sentence in Louisiana for a 2002 murder.</p>
<p>In her comments, she told fans he &#8220;has representation to one day be free&#8221; before encouraging everyone to&#8221;move forward&#8221; from their brief rekindled romance.</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">Rapper Puts Out Call-To-Action Against &#8220;Racist&#8221; Prison</h3>
<p>C-Murder didn&#8217;t refute what Monica said about getting her heart broken again. Instead, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/C0xor_isVfZ/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&;igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==" target="_blank" rel="noopener">he challenged</a> people, including celebrities, to be invested in the more significant cause of freedom.</p>
