<p>Just over seven months after Lil Keed passed away, further information on the 24-year-old rapper&#8217;s cause of death is coming to light.</p>
<p><em><a href="https://people.com/music/lil-keed-cause-of-death-confirmed-by-coroner-7-months-after-he-died/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">People</a></em> reports that, per the coroner, the <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/not-it-yfn-lucci-has-not-been-named-as-a-witness-in-young-thugs-ysl-case-lawyer-says/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">YSL</a> artist died on account of a condition called eosinophilia.</p>
<p>According to the <a href="https://www.cincinnatichildrens.org/service/c/eosinophilic-disorders/conditions/eosinophilia" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Cincinnati Children&#8217;s Hospital Medical Center</a>, eosinophilia is characterized by &#8220;having high levels of eosinophils, which are a type of immune cell that is normally present in the blood and certain tissues.&#8221; When an individual has too many of these immune cells, they can cause &#8220;chronic inflammation resulting in tissue damage&#8221; while attempting to fight off pathogens.</p>
<p>Additionally, the <a href="https://www.mayoclinic.org/symptoms/eosinophilia/basics/definition/sym-20050752#:~:text=Eosinophilia%20%28e%2Do%2Dsin%2Do,an%20allergic%20reaction%20or%20cancer." target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mayo Clinic</a> notes that the condition &#8220;most often indicates a parasitic infection, an allergic reaction or cancer.&#8221;</p>
<h3 style="text-align: center;">What Happened On The Night Lil Keed Passed Away?</h3>
<p>In addition to the rapper&#8217;s condition, the coroner&#8217;s report also detailed what exactly occurred on the night of his passing.</p>
<p>Lil Keed reportedly sought out medical attention at around 7:30 p.m. on May 13. Ahead of this, he had been dealing with &#8220;stomach and back pains&#8221; for days.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;He had been sick in bed for 4 days with complaints of stomach and back pains. His brother noted that the decedent&#8217;s eyes were jaundiced and drove him to the hospital in a private vehicle.&#8221;</p></blockquote>
<p>While heading to the hospital, the rapper suffered a seizure &#8220;before going unresponsive.&#8221; Shortly after 10 p.m., he was pronounced dead.</p>
<p>After he passed away, and Lil Keed&#8217;s brother—Lil Gotit—acknowledged the situation with an Instagram upload.</p>

<h3 style="text-align: center;">Lil Keed Died Shortly After Young Thug&#8217;s RICO Arrest</h3>
<p>This tragedy notably came on the heels of Young Thug and various other YSL associates, including Gunna, being apprehended on RICO charges, as <em><a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/breaking-young-thug-gunna-among-28-people-indicted-on-56-counts-charges-include-murder-armed-robbery-more/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Shade Room</a> </em>previously reported.</p>
<p>As Thugger was already incarcerated, he wasn&#8217;t able to publicly acknowledge Lil Keed&#8217;s passing. However, Lil Gotit revealed that he spoke to the rapper about the situation during a phone call.</p>
<p>The bereaved brother acknowledged that Keed &#8220;f**ked [Young Thug] up with this one.&#8221; In spite of this, he found comfort in knowing Lil Keed was &#8220;guarding&#8221; Thugger amid his legal issues.</p>
