<p>Roommates, we thought the Popeyes chicken sandwich frenzy died down, but it looks like we were very, very wrong. Unfortunately, whatever is in those sandwiches has people fighting, arguing, and now, pulling out fire arms.</p>
<p><a href="https://abc13.com/people-with-gun-demand-popeyes-chicken-sandwiches-/5510088/">According to</a> ABC 13 Houston, a group of customers approached a Popeyes drive-thru intercom on Monday night, anticipating getting some of these chicken sandwiches. Apparently, the group did not take well to employees letting them know they were all sold out.</p>
<p>The two women and three men got out of their vehicle, leaving a baby inside, and attempted to get inside of the restaurant. One man, wielding a gun, threatened employees with a firearm before they were able to lock him out of the restaurant.</p>
<p>Houston police were called to the restaurant just after 9pm. Employees told authorities the group threatened them over something so laughable, just before they sped off in their blue SUV.</p>
<p>&#8220;It was more of an aggravated assault because he was displaying a weapon and threatened employees,&#8221; said Lt. Larry Crowson with Houston Police.</p>
<p>Authorities have not reported any injuries. They say the man with the gun is being described as having small dreadlocks, tattoos on his face and was seen wearing a black t-shirt with red sleeves.</p>
<p>Police are reportedly hoping security cameras captured the incident so they can catch t he group.</p>
<p>This is not an isolated incident of foolery that has happened in regards to the now famous chicken sandwich. As we<a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/tsrcutthefoolery-man-sues-popeyes-for-running-out-of-chicken-sandwiches/"> previously reported,</a> one man decided to take legal action against Popeyes after the fast-food chain made a formal announcement about the sandwich being sold out.</p>
<p>The lawsuit states rear Craig Barr of East Ridge, Tennessee, is suing Popeyes for false advertising, and deceptive business practices by entity to public. Barr is asking for $5,000 from the company, and it set to be in court on October 28th.</p>
