<p><strong>Cynthia Bailey</strong> and <strong>Mike Hill</strong> are going their separate ways after two years of marriage. Early this week, fans began anticipating a divorce announcement when Cynthia removed <em>Hill </em>from her Instagram bio, and both of them neglected to share celebratory posts about their wedding anniversary.</p>
<p>Mike added fuel to the internet talks when a video surfaced of a female dancer using him as a human pole. One day later, the couple <a href="https://www.etonline.com/cynthia-bailey-and-mike-hill-confirm-split-after-two-years-of-marriage-exclusive-192463" target="_blank" rel="noopener">confirmed their split</a> to <em>Entertainment Tonight </em>in a joint statement.</p>

<h5 style="text-align: center;"><strong>Source Says Marital Issues Have Been Brewing For A Hot Minute</strong></h5>
<p>Cynthia and Mike were first linked in 2018&#8211; about two years after her divorce from Peter Thomas, per <em>ET.</em> After confirming the relationship, Cynthia told <em>Bravo </em>if things <a href="https://www.bravotv.com/the-daily-dish/cynthia-bailey-compares-mike-hill-peter-thomas-leon-robinson" target="_blank" rel="noopener">didn&#8217;t work out</a> with Mike, she was meant <em>&#8220;to be single for the rest of her life.&#8221;</em> But after about 14 months of dating, <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/tsrbaewatch-cynthia-bailey-and-mike-hill-are-officially-engaged/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Mike popped</a> the question!</p>
<p>They married in October 2020 in a Georgia wedding featuring 250 guests. However, the lavish celebration received backlash for its size during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.</p>
<p>About a year later, the couple faced cheating allegations when a Twitter user accused Mike of <a href="https://dev.theshaderoom.com/cynthia-bailey-and-mike-hill-deny-cheating-allegations-and-threaten-legal-action/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">sending nudes</a> on Snapchat. Cynthia called the rumors <em>&#8220;very annoying,&#8221;</em> Mike added that the talks were &#8220;stupid&#8221; in a street interview with <em>TMZ.</em></p>

<p>But in today&#8217;s report by <em>Entertainment Tonight</em>, a source alleges that the couple&#8217;s split has been a long time coming.</p>
<blockquote><p>&#8220;Cynthia and Mike have been having issues for a while and tried working on things but weren&#8217;t able to come to a resolution. The two have been busy with work and it wasn&#8217;t easy on their relationship,&#8221; the source said.</p></blockquote>
<h5 style="text-align: center;"><strong>Cynthia And Mike Share Amicable Words About Each Other</strong></h5>
<p>According to <em>PEOPLE, </em>Cynthia reportedly <a href="https://people.com/tv/cynthia-bailey-mike-hill-divorcing-after-2-years-of-marriage-exclusive-statements/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">already filed for divorce</a>. Both parties offered independent statements to the publication about their split. Despite their end, the former <em>Real Housewives of Atlanta </em>star believes Mike was meant to come into her life and that she will find love again.</p>

<p>Mike also spoke lovingly of the relationship in a statement to <em>PEOPLE. </em>Like his soon-to-be ex-wife, he expressed gratitude for their <em>&#8220;rock solid&#8221;</em> friendship. However, his statement echoed what <em>ET</em>&#8216;s source said about long-standing issues.</p>
