<p>The 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards finally premiered to the public on Tuesday evening. As <a href="https://www.complex.com/music/a/brad-callas/2023-bet-hip-hop-awards-winners-list" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Shade Room</a> previously reported, the event occurred on October 3 in Atlanta, Georgia.</p>

<p>The City Girls later took the stage, and JT set things off with a solo performance of her single, &#8220;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FjjpZch6oeE" target="_blank" rel="noopener">No Bars</a>.&#8221; As The Shade Room previously reported, the song was released in July by JT and was accompanied by a resource website for formerly incarcerated women.</p>
