It hurts enough to go through a messy divorce, but it’s even worse when you have to come out your pocket and give your own coins to someone that you’re trying to split up with! For singer Mel B, it seems like she couldn’t catch a break after a Judge has ordered her to pay $40K to her ex Stephen Belafonte.
According to TMZ, Mel B’s ex Stephen claims he needs support to stay on his feet. “Stephen Belafonte’s request for emergency spousal support was granted by a judge who agrees … he needs help paying for food, housing, and his phone, among other things. It could have been worse for Mel. According to docs, she could have been forced to pay $15k more per month — based on income and expenses — but the judge cut her a break.”
Mel B argued that Stephen’s financial requests were outrageous and state he needs to find a job! Reports also say the Judge cut Mel B a break, and now is left with just paying $40k a month and Stephen’s legal fees until a final divorce settlement is met.
