Darnella Frazier, the young woman responsible for recording the Minnesota officer kneeling on the neck of George Floyd, went back to the scene of the crime to the day after to recount the traumatic experience.
In a video produced by Now This News, an emotional Darnella spoke about the incident and said, I posted the video last night, and it just went viral. And everybodys asking me how do I feel? I dont know how to feel. This man was literally right here, 8:00 pm yesterday. I was walking my cousin to the store, and I just see him on the ground. Im like what is going on?
She continued, I pull my camera out. This man cannot f*cking breathe at all. Hes like Please, I cant breathe, I cant breathe. And they did not care. They killed this man.
TMZ spoke with Darnella, and she talked about how she has been receiving backlash since the video has gone viral. Apparently, some people have been telling her that she should have done more.
However, it was her video that caught the injustice act while it was taking place, and it was her video that helped with the evidence to lead to the officers termination. And hopefully, justice can be served when it comes to this case.
Darnellas mother also revealed to the site that shes worried about her daughter after she experienced such a traumatizing situation and the effects that have come with it. She continued to express her concern moving forward seeing as how Darnella has suffered from social anxiety.
